Investigation into Shooting at 9600 Windswept
December 8, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 9600 Windswept about 12:20 a.m. today.
The victim, Edenilson Orellana, 16, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officer M. Barrow reported:
Mr. Orellana was walking in Tanglewilde Park at the above address when a dark-colored vehicle, described as a Buick or Cadillac, drove up and a rear left passenger fired shots from inside the vehicle. Orellana was struck in both legs by the gunfire and the vehicle fled the scene. A witness noticed Orellana and gave him a ride to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
