Investigation into Fatal Crash at 12400 South Sam Houston Parkway

August 21, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12400 South Sam Houston Parkway about 6:30 p.m. on Friday (August 18).

The identity of the male victim, 54, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Ross and Officer P. Ngo reported:

The victim was operating a yellow Harley Davidson Trike and traveling eastbound on the service road at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and struck a retaining wall.  The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  No one else was injured.

The investigation is continuing.
