Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 122 East Crosstimbers
September 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 122 East Crosstimbers about 9:45 p.m. on Wednesday (September 21).
The victim, David Trejo-Gonzalez, 42, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and T. Fay reported:
Mr. Trejo-Gonzalez was walking from his vehicle toward his apartment on the opposite side of the building. As he entered a walkway through the building, he was approached by a male who robbed him. During the robbery, Trejo-Gonzalez was shot. The suspect then fled the scene in a white "low-rider" style truck or SUV, driven by an accomplice.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, wearing black with white shorts.
