Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 7600 West Sam Houston Parkway South
September 12, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 7600 West Sam Houston Parkway South about 11:45 a.m. on Sunday (September 11).
The victim suffered no obvious signs of trauma. His identity and cause of death are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers S. Spivey and W. Huff reported:
A witness observed the victim's body floating in Brays Bayou at the above address and called police. Responding patrol officers were directed by Houston Fire Department paramedics to where the victim had been seen. The HPD Dive Team was called to the scene and recovered the victim, who was pronounced dead.
