Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5018 Airport Boulevard
September 12, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 5018 Airport Boulevard about 5:10 a.m. on Saturday (September 10).
The victim, Christopher R. Simple, 54, of the above address, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. Another man, Vincent K. Simple, 53, also of the above address, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Perez and R. Pemberton reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting just-occurred call at the above address. Upon arrival, they found both men suffering from gunshot wounds. The motive for the shooting is not known at this time. The suspects are described only as three black males.
