Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3504 West Orem
October 31, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 3504 West Orem at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday (October 29).
The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Thomas and Officers T. Richardson and R. Moss reported:
Patrol officers were in the parking lot of a convenience store at the above address when witnesses exited the store and informed officers the store clerk and a customer (victim) were arguing. As officers entered the store, they heard a gunshot and found the victim lying behind the employee counter. The victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. This case will likely be presented to a Harris County grand jury.
