Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9350 Country Creek
October 28, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a female that occurred at 9350 County Creek about 4:45 a.m. today.
The victim, believed to be in her mid 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers M. Coleman and T. Tyler reported:
Witnesses reported hearing a female scream and the several gunshots. Witnesses found the victim about an hour later lying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds in the common area of an apartment complex at the above address and called 9-1-1. HFD paramedics pronounced her deceased. Investigators believe the victim got into an altercation prior to the shooting.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
