Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 8200 Broadway
October 27, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found deceased after a fire was extinguished at 8200 Broadway about 4:50 p.m. on Wednesday (October 26).
The male is identified as Lam Nguyen, of the above address.
HPD Officers D. Crowder and A. Vinogradov reported:
HPD homicide investigators responded to the above address after HFD emergency personnel extinguished a fire at the apartment complex and found Mr. Nguyen deceased inside his apartment. Further investigation determined Nguyen is believed to have died while trapped inside his apartment due to burglar bars on the windows.
There were no signs of foul play found. The investigation is pending Nguyen's cause of death, to be determined by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
