Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3410 Bremond
October 24, 2016 - Houton police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 3410 Bremond about 12:15 p.m. last Friday (October 21).
The victim was pronounced dead at Ben Taub General Hospital. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Officer C. Elder reported:
The victim was meeting with associates and selling bootleg movie discs near the above address. While he stood in the middle of Bremond, an unknown masked suspect armed with a rifle approached and fire several shots. The victim was struck and ran through a wooded area where he collapsed. The suspect fled in the opposite direction to a waiting vehicle of unknown make or model about a block away. HFD paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
