Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 304 East 39th Street
October 24, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of two men and one juvenile male at 304 East 39th Street about 7:50 p.m. last Friday (October 21).
The suspect, Darius Montell Hubbard (b/m, 19), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 185th State District Court. Hubbard also suffered a gunshot one and was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

The victims, Demontrez Williams, 21, of Houston, Damien Scott, 21, of Houston, and a juvenile male, 15, suffered non life-threatening gunshot wounds and were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and T. Fay reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and determined a passenger in a white Jeep SUV exited the vehicle and fired shots at the victims, who were standing in a field with several other people. One of the persons in the group fired back at the suspect and struck him. All persons shot were transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
Further investigation identified Darius Hubbard as the suspect and he was subsequently charged.
