Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8200 North Main Street
October 11, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 8200 North Main Street about 10:25 p.m. on Monday (October 10).
The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Turner and Officer J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim had been shot. He was transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Witnesses reported seeing an unknown male suspect fleeing the scene immediately after the shooting.
The suspect was described only as a black male, 5 feet 8 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a white pullover shirt and long pants.
