Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10400 Blackhawk Boulevard
October 10, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10400 Blackhawk Boulevard about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 8).
The male victim, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer M. Matthews reported:
The victim was operating a silver Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Blackhawk Boulevard. As he entered the intersection of Wolcott Park Lane, he struck a blue Dodge Durango SUV, whose driver failed to yield the right of way leaving a stop sign.
The Durango's driver exhibited no signs of intoxication. She was questioned and released, with no charges filed at this time.
The investigation is continuing.
