Suspect Charged, Wanted in Aggravated Assault at 7600 East Houston Road
October 9, 2016 - Houston police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 7600 East Houston Road about 8:45 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 8).
The suspect, Marcus Renard Coleman (b/m, 24), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 339th State District Court. A photo of Coleman is attached to this news release.
The victim, Adoniya M. Spiller, 24, of the above address, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:
Coleman was visiting Spiller at the above address when the two began arguing. During the argument, Coleman produced a gun and shot Spiller, who suffered life-threatening wounds. Coleman fled the scene and remains at large.
