Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 100 North Freeway
October 3, 2016 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found in a bayou at 100 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) at about 8:50 a.m. on Saturday (Oct. 1).
The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Fontenot and Senior Police Officer R. Cervantes reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department personnel responded to White Oak Bayou at the above address for a possible drowning. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is pending autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
