Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8955 Richmond

November 21, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8955 Richmond about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday (Nov. 20).

The victim, Juan Carranza, 18, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Officers B. Roberts and T. Jackson reported:

The victim was in a strip center mall parking lot at the above address when he was shot multiple times.  Witnesses described the shooter only as a heavy-set Hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, wearing a blue T-shirt and beige pants.  The suspect fled the scene in a newer model, white four-door sedan.
