Investigation into Shooting at 8100 Martin Luther King Boulevard
November 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8100 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 9:05 p.m. on Monday (November 21).
The victim, Davonn Wilmore, 33, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers S. Overstreet and S. Gromyko reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting at the above address and found Mr. Wilmore sitting in the driver's seat of his car, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators subsequently learned a dark-colored pickup truck slowly drove by Wilmore's vehicle before fleeing the scene.
