Fatal Crash at 2000 South Highway 6
November 16, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 2000 State Highway 6 about 4:50 p.m. on Tuesday (November 15).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer L. Tram reported:
The victim was operating a black Honda motorcycle southbound on Highway 6 when he lost control and failed to stay in a single lane. The motorcycle then left the roadway and struck a mailbox, fire hydrant and a tree. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
