Investigation into Man's Death at 8205 North Bayou
November 14, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the apparent accidental drowning of a man found at 8205 North Bayou about 12:10 p.m. on Saturday (November 12).
The identity of the man, 60, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Burton reported:
HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded a report of a man's body seen in Sims Bayou. The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the body. A preliminary autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined there were no apparent signs of trauma.
The investigation is pending the man's cause of death.
