Fatal Crash at 11800 North Freeway
November 8, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 11800 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 10:20 a.m. today (November 8).
The identity of the female victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Senior Police Officer R. Saenz reported:
The victim was driving a white Ford Expedition northbound on the North Freeway when, for unknown reasons, she failed to stay in her lane and crossed into another moving lane of traffic. The Ford then left the roadway, struck a concrete divider and rolled over. The victim was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Three juvenile passengers in the Ford, ages 1, 3 and 10, were transported to Houston Northwest Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
The investigation is continuing.
