Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9745 Bissonnet
November 8, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another that occurred at 9745 Bissonnet about 12:35 p.m. on Monday (November 8).
The deceased male, Adrian Castillo, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Officer W. Gilbert reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the Houston CAN Academy at the above address. According to witnesses, Mr. Castillo and another male were sitting in their vehicle in the parking lot of the school when they were blocked in by another vehicle. Several suspects exited the second vehicle and fired several shots at Castillo and the other victim. The suspects then fled the scene. Castillo and the wounded male drove to an urgent care facility in the 5900 block of Chimney Rock where Castillo was pronounced deceased. The second victim was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.
