Investigation into Fatal Crash at 12500 Northwest Freeway
November 3, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 12500 Northwest Freeway (U.S. Highway 290) at about 12:05 a.m. today (November 3).
The male victim, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Roque and Officer A. Holmes reported:
The driver of a gray Ford Fusion was traveling northbound at the above address when the victim, operating a gray Kawasaki motorcycle, suddenly came into his lane. The driver of the Fusion struck the motorcycle. A female passenger on the motorcycle was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in unknown condition. The driver of the Fusion exhibited no signs of intoxication and was questioned and released without charges.
The investigation is continuing.
