HPD Seeks Public's Help in 2015 Shooting at 9550 North Wayside
May 26, 2016 - Houston police are seeking the public's help in the investigation of the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 9550 North Wayside about 10:55 p.m. on May 5, 2015.
The victim, Lazarus Dennis Davis, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Holbrook and M. Milller and Senior Police Officer P. Vela reported:
Officers were called to a disturbance at the above address and found Mr. Davis unconscious in the parking lot of the apartment complex. He had been shot at least one time. Paramedics arrived and pronounced him deceased.
