Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6600 Myrtle
May 25, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 6600 Myrtle about 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday (May 25).
The male victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Senior Police Officer O. Lewis reported:
The victim was operating a white Yamaha motorcycle at a high rate of speed on Myrtle when he struck a white Chevrolet Impala in the intersection of Bobby Lee Lane. The driver of the Impala was not injured.
The investigation is continuing.
