Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 2900 Delano
May 31, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 2900 Delano about 2:55 p.m. on Sunday (May 29).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Senior Police Officer M. Coleman reported:
Patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found the male victim lying in the intersection with Tuam. He had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. Paramedics transported the male to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
At this time, there no known witnesses or suspect(s) in the incident.
