Investigation into Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash at 10100 Homestead
May 23, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 10100 Homestead at about 2:35 a.m. on Sunday (May 22).
The identity of the female victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer T. Riley reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was in the 10100 block of Homestead when she was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling south on Homestead. The vehicle then fled the scene. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital where she was pronounced dead. There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
