Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8701 Gustine Lane
May 23, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one male and the wounding of another that occurred at 8701 Gustine Lane at about 2:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 21).
The identity of the deceased male victim, 18, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers J. Dodson and S. Gromyko reported:
Patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, sitting in the driver's seat of a vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers then learned a second male had been injured in the shooting and was taken by a private vehicle to a local area hospital where he was treated and released. Witnesses stated the suspects were described only as Hispanic males, approximately 30 to 45 years of age, who fled in a white Ford F-250 pickup truck.
