Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6000 Pinemont
May 23, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6000 Pinemont at about 11:30 p.m. last Friday (May 20).
The identity of the male victim, 53, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Kopulos and Officer D. Lunceford reported:
The victim was driving a gray Dodge Charger and attempting to make a right turn to go southbound on Pinemont when his vehicle was struck by a green Toyota Tundra, also going southbound on Pinemont. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead on Saturday (May 21). The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene, was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
