Investigation into Shooting of Man Found at 8100 Gulf Freeway
May 20, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man found at 8100 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 2:40 a.m. today (May 20).
The victim, believed to be in his mid 30s, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Daignault and Officer T. Jackson reported:
Wrecker drivers found a vehicle stopped on the southbound service road of the Gulf Freeway and saw the driver appeared to have been shot. Witnesses then called 9-1-1. HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect (s).
