Fatal Crash at 13552 Northwest Freeway
May 16, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 13552 Northwest Freeway (U. S. Highway 290) about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday (May 14).
The male victim, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Thomas and Officer B. Singleton reported:
The driver of a blue Dodge Charger was traveling westbound on the Northwest Freeway when he struck a male pedestrian running across the freeway. The male died at the scene. The driver of the Charger remained at the scene, was questioned and released.
