Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1000 North Lane
May 11, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 1000 North Lane about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday (May 11).
The identity of the victim, who died at the scene, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Arrington and C. Sharp reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting on Knox at North Lane and found an unknown black male lying in the roadway. He had been shot several times and was deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
