Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 3447 Unity Drive
May 5, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 3447 Unity Drive about 12 a.m. today (May 5).
The victim, Tomas Gonzalez-Canil, 35, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant T. Simmons and Officer B. Chebret reported:
Mr. Gonzalez-Canil returned home from picking up dinner when he was shot by unknown suspects in the driveway of his residence. Gonzalez-Canil's wife told police she heard at least three gunshots and then found her husband lying in the driveway.
At this time there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
