Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 7023 Cole Creek Drive
May 4, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 7023 Cole Creek Drive about 9:15 p.m. on Monday (May 2).
The victim, Victor Saavedra, 36, of the above address, suffered gunshot wounds and blunt force trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Officer M. Burrow reported:
Mr. Saavedra went outside of his residence at the above address to his vehicle and was confronted by three male suspects. Saavedra was then beaten and shot several times. Further investigation determined the suspects arrived and fled the scene in a gray Infinity sedan, believed to be a G35 or similar model. A photo of the suspect vehicle is attached to this news release.
The suspects are described only as one black male and two unknown males.
At this time, there is no known motive.
