Investigation into Woman's Death at 11400 Legend Manor Drive
March 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the death of a woman at 11400 Legend Manor Drive about 2:20 p.m. on Monday (March 21).
The identity of the female victim, 59, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant A. Vanderbull and Officer D. Robinson reported:
The victim was a passenger in a golf cart traveling westbound at the above address. She told the cart's female driver to slow down or she (victim) would jump off the cart. When the driver stated she was not driving too fast, the victim decided to jump off the moving cart and struck her head on a curb. Paramedics transported the woman to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing.
