Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4900 Memorial Drive
March 18, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 4900 Memorial Drive that occurred about 9 a.m. today (March 18).
The identity of the male victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Officer T. Van reported:
The victim was driving a blue Chevrolet Trailblazer at the above location when he failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and crashed into several trees and brush. The vehicle rolled over, ejecting the victim. There were no witnesses to the crash and it may have occurred during the nighttime hours. The crash site was discovered by a pedestrian.
