Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5000 Old Spanish Trail
March 11, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5000 Old Spanish Trail about 8:40 p.m. on Thursday (March 10).
The female victim, 22, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant L. Pate and Officer A. Holmes reported:
The victim was driving a tan Chevrolet Malibu westbound on Old Spanish Trail when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. The victim was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
