Investigation into Fatal Crash at 6900 North Wayside
March 08, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 6900 North Wayside about 4:10 a.m. today (March 8).
The male victim, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Hall and Officer E. Rubio reported:
The driver of a red Ford Mustang was traveling northbound at the above address when, for unknown reasons, veered out of the lane and into a median. The Mustang then struck a tree and the driver was killed. A passenger in the Mustang was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital and is expected to survive his injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
