Fatal Crash at 13400 North Freeway
March 07, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 13400 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 8:40 p.m. on Sunday (March 6).
The identity of the male victim, 47, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant P. Lee and Officer D. Jones reported:
The victim was operating a white Harley Davidson motorcycle and traveling at a high rate of speed southbound on the North Freeway service road at the above address. At some point, he lost control of the motorcycle and fell off of it. Paramedics arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved in the crash. Investigators learned alcohol might be a factor in the crash.
The investigation is continuing.
