The victim, Ephran Boyd, 26, of Houston, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.  Doctors pronounced him dead on Sunday (June 19).

Mr. Boyd went to the above address about 4 p.m. and was spending time with friends.  Later that evening, a male suspect arrived at the location and asked for Boyd by name.  As he walked out to see what the suspect wanted, a second male suspect was going through Boyd's vehicle.  While Boyd confronted the suspect going through his car, the other suspect shot Boyd.  Both suspects then fled the scene east on Trout in a maroon, four-door vehicle.  Boyd was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.  The HPD Robbery Division investigated into the incident until last Sunday (June 19), when doctors pronounced Boyd deceased.

The suspects are described only as two black males.  One is 30 to 35 years of age, wearing a black T-shirt, black pants and a red ball cap.  The other was of unknown age and wearing a hoodie.
