Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6010 Elm
June 27, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and wounding of three other persons at 6010 Elm about 6:35 p.m. on Sunday (June 26).
The identity of the deceased victim, 40, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
Three other victims - a male, 21, a female, 19, and juvenile male, 3 - were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening wounds.
HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Fregia and N. Sharp reported:
Patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address. Witnesses stated several people got into an altercation when someone started shooting. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and three other people were struck.
There is no known suspect(s) at this time.
