Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8900 Comal
June 27, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8900 Comal about 7 p.m. last Friday (June 24).
The identity of the victim, 44, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and J. Burton reported:
The victim and a woman were walking at the above address when they were approached by two black males who demanded jewelry from the female. When the woman refused to give up her property, one of the suspects shot the male victim several times. The male suspects, in their late teens to early 20s and wearing black camo hoodies and jean shorts, then ran north on Comal towards Bellfort. Paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
