Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5600 Bellfort
June 24, 2016 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 5600 Bellfort Street about 12:25 p.m. today.
The identity of the female victim, 44, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer H. Nguyen reported:
The victim was driving a blue Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound at the above address when she lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a tree in the median. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the crash.
