Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 9540 Kempwood
June 24, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 9540 Kempwood about 10:20 a.m. on Thursday (June 23).
The suspect, Binh Trinh (A/m, 65), is charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court. He is accused in the killing of his son, Duong To Trinh, 35, of the above address, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Senior Police Officer M. Stahlin reported:
Binh Trinh went to his son's residence to speak with him and got into a family dispute. During the argument, Trinh shot his son several times, left the apartment and then called police. Trinh was taken into custody and admitted to shooting his son.
