Update: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 9800 Beechnut Street
June 23, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a juvenile male found at 9800 Beechnut about 10:55 p.m. on Monday (June 21).
The suspect, Christopher Bert Taylor (b/m, 52), is charged with murder in the 228th State District Court for his role in the killing of Joseph Aguirre-Flores, 14.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer L. Bailey and Officer J. Young reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found the victim lying in the street with stab wounds. Witnesses told police they heard a scream and saw a juvenile (victim) running. Two dark-complected males were seen leaving the area on foot southbound on the Sam Houston Parkway service road.
Acting on a Crime Stoppers tip, investigators identified Taylor as the suspect in this case and he was arrested on Wednesday (June 22) without incident. Taylor provided a statement to investigators and admitted to his role in the incident.
