Investigation into Attempted Murder/Suicide at 7900 Westheimer
June 22, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting and wounding of a male and apparent suicide of a female that occurred at 7900 Westheimer about 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday (June 21).
The deceased female suffered an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The male was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries and remains in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a request for assistance from Houston Fire Department emergency personnel at the above address. Officers arrived and found a female had shot a male before turning the gun on herself.
The investigation is continuing.
