Composite Sketch Released in Fatal Shooting at 9200 North Wayside Drive


June 15, 2016 - Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of a juvenile male that occurred about 1:40 a.m. on May 31.  

The suspect is described only as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and possibly in his 20s.  A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.

The adult victim, Darrion Derrell Dixon, 19, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The juvenile, 14, was transported to an area hospital for treatment.  His condition is not available at this time.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant A. Semmelrock and Senior Police Officer M. Stahlin reported:  

Mr. Dixon and a juvenile friend were possibly walking to a nearby store when they were shot by unknown suspects.  A passing bicyclist heard the juvenile victim's calls for help and found the victims.
