Investigation into Shooting at 4235 Barberry
June 14, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of two adult males and one juvenile male about 11:25 p.m. on Monday (June 13).
The juvenile victim, Marcus Cherry, 16, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition. The adult males, 18 and 20, were transported to Ben Taub General Hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Officer T. Jackson reported:
The three victims were sitting on a porch area of building 4 of the Scott Plaza Apartments at the above address. A dark-colored, four-door sedan with heavily tinted windows drove through the area and shots were fired by unknown suspects from inside the vehicle. All three victims were struck and transported to the hospital.
