Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 11900 Bissonnet
June 13, 2016 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man at 11900 Bissonnet about 10 a.m. last Friday (June 10).
The suspect, Hiram Lartigue (b/m, 37), is charged with murder in the 228th State District Court. A photo of Lartigue is attached to this news release.
The victim, Robin Don Ward, 48, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:
Witnesses reported seeing a black male run southbound across Bissonnet just west of the Kirkwood intersection. The male then stabbed Mr. Ward once in the chest before fleeing on foot.
Further investigation led to the identification of Lartigue as a suspect in this case and he was arrested the following day (June 11) without incident.
