Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 8751 Broadway
June 13, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8751 Broadway about 12:35 a.m. today.
The male victim,17, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers D. Stark and G. Sullivan reported:
The victim was attending a party at the Vista Verde apartment complex at the above address when a group of males entered an apartment and started arguing with other persons present. During the argument, an unknown male on the balcony pulled out a gun and started shooting. The victim was struck by the gunfire and died at the scene. All witnesses left the scene prior to officers' arrival.
