Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5800 Cullen
June 2, 2016 - Houston police have learned a male critically injured in a crash at 5800 Cullen Boulevard on May 19 has died of his injuries.
The identity of the victim, 22, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Arnold and Officer M. Rios reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was in a moving lane of traffic at the above address when he was struck by a gray Chevrolet C1500 pickup truck. Paramedics transported the male to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead on May 30. The pedestrian was at fault and failed to yield the right of way to a motor vehicle. The driver of the truck stopped at the scene, was questioned and released.
