Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 6227 Brown Bark Drive


July 12, 2016 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male and the wounding of two others at 6227 Brown Bark Drive about 4:05 p.m. on Monday (July 11).

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Robles and Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the victim deceased and learned two other males were transported to an area hospital by private vehicle.  Further investigation led to the discovery of several types of narcotics at the scene.  At this time, the shooting is believed to be drug-related.
